To use your mobile as a webcam there is an application named as "WWIGO" stands for " Webcam Wherever I Go".
with the help of WWIGO, a mobile phone with camera supported can be used as a webcam on your Computer or Laptop using bluetooth or WLAN as the medium.
System Requirements:
Bluetooth device.
Operating system;
Windows 2000
Windows XP + SP2 or 3
Windows Vista
This application work on all Symbian Series 60 v3 and v5 devices.
Bluetooth Softwares:
IVT BlueSoleil, Widcomm, Toshiba & Microsoft bluetooth stacks are supported.
Installation Instructions
a. Run the wwigoSetupx.exe. Follow the instructions to install it on the PC.
b. A sis file is present in the installed directory. Transfer wwigoMobileApp.sisx to your mobile.
c. install wwigoMobileApp.sisx
d. After succesfully installed WWIGO both on PC and mobile Launch your Pc application and also on your mobile. From mobile click on option and then click on connect. When connection establised you see your camera capturing video on your monitor screen..
Using with Yahoo Messenger:
Setting up WWIGO as webcam
1. Login into Yahoo Messenger.
2. Click on "My web cam" in the messenger menu. A webcam window will appear.
3. Now Go to File then Preferences to select your webcam.
4. Click on web cam preference and then click on "Camera Source" button and select wwigo from the list.
Press OK button to select WWIGO as your default webcam.
5. Now Double click on user you want to show your webcam.
6. In "Action" menu, click on "Invite to view my webcam"
Now after user accept your request, your broadcasting starts.
Similarly you can also use wwigo on Msn,Skype..
